Mothers' Union

Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation that has in excess of 3.6 million members in over 78 countries worldwide, we evenhave one in Afghanistan.

We are all about supporting marriage and family life.The backbone of Mothers' Union is its worldwide network of  volunteers. Gentlemen are most welcome to join.

As a church group, everyone is welcome to join us. We meet at 2.00pm usually on the first Wednesday of each month in the Youth Room in the Church Hall. Our guests are always interesting speakers and we have 25 members. We start with a hymn, followed by prayers and finish with the Mothers' Union prayer. There's also a Mother's Union in Foston prison which is going very well.

Loving Lord,

We thank you for your love so freely given to us all. We pray for families around the world. Bless the work of the Mothers' Union as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life. Empowered by your Spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship and in love and service, reach out as your hands across the world. In Jesus' name.
